Shean Formation Day 7: A Little More of the Same

One reason why a healthy lifestyle can be difficult is because it requires so much discipline and consistency, and discipline and consistency require doing the little things over and over and over again. But it’s the same with anything else in life, and now that I’m older, I’ve grown to respect that the little things, and the accumulation of many little things, are what make up the meaningful growth of our lives.

So today more of the same: Oatscaldo for breakfast with Archie’s virgin coconut oil concoction with a 15 minute bike ride before lunch. Lunch was cabbage and corned beef at home. Home cooked meals are always the best. 30 minutes on the treadmill at the Camp John Hay Manor Gym. And finally, dinner was more virgin coconut oil and sashimi.

My body feels really good after a week of doing this. My weight is down to 188.2 lbs from 192. That’s quite a difference wouldn’t you agree? My waist seems to have reduced but my body feels a little bloated. David thinks it’s my time of the month. Crazy kid. One interesting thing I did notice is that Archie’s virgin coconut oil concoction seems to have caused me to drop my food intake by 30%. It’s like I don’t need too much food anymore.

Interesting stuff.
