Also a mono-diet, a rice diet emphasizes the consumption of rice. It is a low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet that will supply the body with plenty of potassium.

Benefits

Many people try the rice diet of the following reasons:

It is very easy to prepare. Rice can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge for later use. Cooked rice can be frozen for several days, thawed, and reheated when needed. Steaming rice by putting it on a coriander over boiling water is the best way to reheat frozen rice.

It is very tasty. There many delicious rice recipes to choose from and there are not a lot of prohibitions when it comes to preparing rice meals.

Rice is suitable for supplying the body with minerals and vitamins. In this matter, brown rice is preferable to white rice.

Rice pairs well with any food, including fruits and vegetables. Rice could also be cooked with fish, grains, and lean meat.

Assessment

During the rice diet, the consumption of nuts, fats and meat should be limited. Salted and smoked meat should not be used because these foods contain too much salt and would cause water retention.

At least two meals should be replaced by a rice meal so that there would be no shortage of vitamins and minerals. Copious drinking prevents the drying out of the body.

It is best to maintain a healthy eating habit and work on some training exercises during a rice diet.
