headache

Headache is a frequently occurring condition that most people fight every now and then, with at least 25% affected permanently.

More Headaches

Not all headaches are the same. There are over 250 types of headaches. The pain ranges from mild headache to a severe migraine. In migraine, it may even induce neurological side effects such as blurred vision or paralysis.

There are scientific distinctions between primary and secondary headaches. The latter are only a consequence of other diseases such as diabetes or hypertension. Dieting may causing headaches. The normal headache is usually a warning signal of the body with the clear message to slow down.

Causes

In most cases, headaches arise as a result of stress and overloaded situations. Even a new diet means an exceptional situation for the human body. This is especially true in the first days when the body would evaluate dietary change as an emergency and would express this displeasure through a headache over the situation.

In general, headaches would disappear during a diet when the person has adapted to new circumstances and eating habits.

The risk of getting headaches is higher when entering into a radical diet because the stressful situation for both body and spirit is even stronger.

Assessment

An important component in this context is the water balance. In conjunction with a diet with a large variation over the normal, there is really a chance that the body and brain would first reject the diet through the manifestation of a headache.
