Stuffy nose and a constant dripping are two things you will not want to have on your nose. It is not as bad as flu or as deadly as malaria, but it is extremely irritating to always have to grab that tissue for comfort. Here are the top ten all natural ways to fighting a cold and keeping your nostrils breathing happily and freely:

1. Daily dose of fruits and veggies. Your mom is right! The fruits and vegetables will give you an army of antioxidants and nutrients that will nip the health problem in the bud. Have a daily dose of fruits and veggies and you will surely have half the battle against cold won.

2. Probiotics. Yogurt is a good source of natural probiotics that will help fight all the bad bacteria that makes cold so easy to attack your nose. Fighting bad bacteria with good bacteria of probiotic substances is not really a very bad idea.

3. Garlic. Garlic is famous for beefing up the immune system well enough so that no cold virus can come in. It is even used as a cure for colds, although it is recommended more as a preventive measure. Just have a lot of garlic in your diet and your nose will never go wrong.

4. Hydration. Trust water to provide you will all the fluidity you need to keep that air flowing freely from your nose to your lungs! Drink a lot of water and you will stay hydrated enough to discourage any form of phlegm inhibition. 7. Lemon. Lemon is rich in vitamin C, and if you have a daily dosage of around 1000 mg of that vitamin, you will hardly have any cold problems.

8. Ginger. A good winter concoction and cold buster, ginger juice is also good for the voice. And it will help you endure burning stinging sensations better with daily dosage!

9. Turmeric. The powdered and liquid forms of turmeric are common forms that make it a remedy for colds. Mixing it with honey might just give it a better taste.

10. Minimal solids. Too much meat will not just make you fat, but it also increases your risk for acquiring colds.
