
Can someone really get fit and strong at just 30mins a workout? Yes, according to Crossfit, the intensity packed workout many people are raving about.
CrossFit is described as:
CrossFit is a fitness program for everyone! The CrossFit program is a combination of high intensity and constantly varied exercises, which means you’ll never repeat a workout. Exercises range from gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, track and field, kettlebell training and other sports. Most workouts resemble circuit training and are finished in less than 30 minutes.
A bunch of friends from Natural Health+ tried and we immediately liked the challenge it presented. While we all pretty much had athletic and sports backgrounds, none of us were prepared for how concentrated the effort would be. We basically had to pack in pushups, ball throws, pull-ups, and jumps in 15 minutes non-stop – and that was the introduction class. The more advanced people were doing 30 minutes of harder stuff.
If you want something intense, CrossFit is definitely a must try.
